Due to our impressive consistent growth and strong ambitions within the IT & Telecoms sector, we are currently recruiting for an SME Business Development Manager (Telecoms) to who will be responsible for setting and agreeing their sales targets and then maintaining a good client relationship.
Opus has a wide range of technology available to our customers and as the market changes we are looking for a sales person who is keen to develop with us and adapt as our market space changes.
WHAT? This Role
Salary of £38-£42K basic OTE £120-£140K + Car Allowance
Uncapped commission
25 Days Holiday + UK Bank Holidays
Hybrid working with 3 days in our Reigate office
As SME Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for:
Identifying the number of calls, level of personal marketing and appointments required to achieve agreed sales targets
Handling any company generated opportunities with diligence and professionalism
Maintaining proper client and prospect records and database
Continuing product and technical training to keep current with developments in the Telecom’s arena to enhance your professional development
Working responsibly and professionally with other teams and departments
Representing the company in a professional courteous and dignified manner
Other organisations may call this role National Account Manager, Sales Manager , New Business Development or Telecoms Sales Executive.
WHO? About you
We are seeking an SME Business Development Manager who is/has:
Minimum of 4 years sales experience within the Telecoms sector, traditionally working with organisation sizes of 100+ users
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets
Cloud-based software solutions sales experience preferably in contact centre
Knowledge of and ability to understand the effects of changes and technical advances in relation to client benefits
Experience with sales campaigns and conducting sales presentations
Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines with strong planning and negotiation skills
Ability and proven evidence of being able to adapt to an ever-changing market
IT Competency with all Microsoft products and CRM systems
