We are looking for a Clinical Negligence Paralegal/NQ Solicitor with at least 2 years’ experience in Clinical Negligence and/or Serious Injury to join our expanding law firm in Leeds.
Job Role
Assisting the Clinical Negligence Partner with often complex litigation cases in the areas of clinical. commercial and professional negligence, you will be working on a small caseload under the direction of the Partner and other experienced litigation solicitors. Main responsibilities will include:
• Reviewing documents
• Drafting court applications
• Taking witness statements
• Researching
• Taking new enquiries
• Attending client meetings in support of the solicitor
Person Specification
The ideal candidate must have at least two years’ experience working on clinical, commercial and/or professional negligence cases, as well as:
• A good understanding of the Civil Procedure Rules
• Good commercial awareness
• Excellent client care skills
• An eye for detail
• Good knowledge of document and case management systems
